  • Easy to test and fix for longer term benefits
  • Fred recommends SEOgadget’s Schema guide
  • Microdata generator tool – microgenerator.org
  • You can markup your local business with place and organization markup
  • If you are a franchise, you can have one organization with multiple places
  • Becareful with accuracy of schemas, it can often display incorrect information and prices on ecommerce websites if not implemented correctly
  • You can also use semantic SEO as part of your internal search – INTERESTING need to get more clarity on this
  • Zappos done really well with video products & schemas. Great looking SERP with video thumbnail
  • For WordPress, WordPress SEO by Yoast does all the schemas and markups for you – easy quick win
  • Open graph protocol will be huge with the new Facebook newsfeed update – start marking up now
  • Open graph protocol are adding more markups – watch this space
  • TIP – use google rich snippet tool to test
  • Australia is way behind in implementing Schemas – Jump on it before the big guns do, competitive and first mover advantage
